The Newark Cancer Research UK local committee is planning to Turn Newark Pink this Autumn.
The Newark Cancer Research UK local committee is planning to Turn Newark Pink this Autumn by encouraging businesses and retailers to turn their windows pink and fundraise for Cancer Research UK's breast cancer campaign.
The campaign will run from 30th September through to the 12th October giving local businesses and residents the opportunity to come together to raise awareness of Cancer Research UK’s life-saving research. It's just a £10 donation to register and the charity will send you some fundraising materials. There will also be a prize for the best dressed window.
1 in 2 of us will be affected by cancer at some point in our lives and, due to the dedication of Cancer Research UK's supporters, cancer survival in the last 50 years has doubled. But we need to go further and faster to enable Cancer Research UK to continue to make discoveries, drive progress, bring hope and help keep families together for longer. Help us achieve this by Turning Newark Pink in October.
