Appeal for Witnesses And Dash Cam Footage of A46 Crash

Police has asked anyone who witnessed or has dash cam footage of the crash which took place at the Station Road Junction, Collingham on Tuesday 6th June at approximately 9.45am.

The drivers of both vehicles were seriously injured in the crash and were taken to hospital with chest, leg and back injuries. The elderly male driver was taken to The Queens Medical Centre whilst the female driver was taken to Lincoln County Hospital. They are now both described as in a stable condition.

The A46 was closed from Newark Showground until lunchtime whilst the emergency services attended the scene on Tuesday.

Anyone who saw what happened or who has any information is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 213 of 6 June 2017, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
