Police appeal for your information following a collision on Northgate where a male sustained serious injuries.

APPEAL: Officers are investigating a serious collision in the North Gate area of Newark.

Emergency services were called around 7.30pm yesterday (Thursday 17th January) to reports of an incident near to Aldi supermarket. A 60-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the collision with a car.

If you witnessed the incident or have any information that could help, please us on 101, quoting incident 763 of 17 January 2019 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. 

Officers are particularly keen to hear from any drivers who have dash cam footage from the area around the time it happened
