Castle House Evacuated

Castle House, the home of Newark & Sherwood District Council was evacuated earlier today, Tuesday 8th May.

Having received a suspicious package this morning, NSDC made the decision to evacuate staff from the building, as is their protocol.

The council offices are currently taped off with emergency services in attendance.

NSDC would like to apologise for any disruption to their services during this time and hope to be fully operational again shortly.
