Civil War history returns to Newark Castle this weekend - and it's FREE

Colonel Robert Overtone's regiment of Foote will be doing a living history event at Newark castle on the 9th and 10th of October 2021

Come down to see drill displays from both pikeman and musketeers, meet a soldier and much more.  Maybe even try on a red coat or hold a sword for yourself and learn about our town's bloody history.

Subtable for all ages and fun for the whole family and what's best it's FREE

However please note that black powder will be used during the event so may not be suitable for those with sensitive ears.
