Laughs, hurts and baskets

Interesting afternoon for the Jags

Today saw an injured and depleted Jags 1 shored up by some very helpful and tired members ofJags 2, take on Titans. We knew going in we were in for a hard game that we would be lucky to score in, especially missing some key players and we were not disappointed! Simon totally unexpectedly won the tip against a giant of a guy (even one of the Titans team asked how he lost it!) and then we were off. Pretty much all the team scored some points in the next supercharged 40 minutes, but the final score came down at 33-79. The score doesn't do the game justice I can promise you! There were some laughs, hurts, baskets and a really amazing camaraderie among the team that not even a defeat could take away. We scored more than we hoped and made them score less than we feared. So yes, we lost - but secretly inside I think we all won just a little bit today. Including Angus - who was a legend 😀
