Newark man arrested following sexual assault
A Newark man has been arrested on suspicion of a serious sexual assault . The asault was on a woman on Castle Gate, Newark, at about 1.55am on Saturday (18 March).
The 24 year old has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 84 of 18 March 2017, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
