Man dies after single vehicle incident on A46

A 64-year old man has died following a single vehicle incident on the A46 at Brough yesterday afternoon.

Nottinghamshire Police were called at around 2.40pm on Thursday 29th August to a report that a lorry had left the road and gone into a ditch.

The driver died at the scene a short while later.

The A46 northbound was closed yesterday while police collision investigators carried out enquiries but has since re-opened.

Detectives are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or believes they may have dashcam footage of the incident to call Nottinghamshire Police, quoting incident number 498 of 29 August 2019.
