Newark Academy Reopens Tomorrow Morning

The Newark Academy is set to reopen following Friday evenings fire at the former Grove Leisure Centre site.

Newark Academy has announced that the school will be reopening from Tuesday the 19th September.

Contractors have been working over the weekend to ensure the school grounds are safe for pupils but we would like to ask parents to remind their children that the site of the fire is still very hazardous and a working building site.

Normal drop off and pick up arrangements will be in place on Tuesday as there is now full access to the school site.

If any parent has any further questions please do not hesitate to contact the school reception.

Mr Seymour, Head of School added "Can I take this opportunity to again apologies for any inconvenience the school closure may have caused. The decision was not taken lightly but the health and safety of our students will always be our first priority. I look forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow."
