Newark Striders Running Club
What a fabulous weekend of racing , firstly a huge congratulations to Andy Scott who completed Manchester marathon in a new personal best time of 4:05:45 , this is the first of three marathons that Andy is completing in April.
While in Berlin Jess and Abigail Gordon ran the city's half marathon. Jess finished in 1:44:46 and Abigail in 2:08:55.
Closer to home Peter Davis completed the Grantham cup 10k trail race in 50:59 and won his age group category.
There was a sea of orange as over forty
Striders completed Lincoln 10K road race.
First Strider to finish was James Rastall in 35:24 with Jan Bailey completing his first official 10K race in 37:32 followed by Richard Scott 42:10, Steve Martin 44:39,
Ted Behl 46:41, Nick Beveridge 48:50.
