XC season gets underway
Amelia Chrispin began her Cross Country season by representing Newark AC in the Notts County Championships held at Wollaton Park yeasterday.
In her first year in the under 15 girls category she crossed the line in a clear 2nd place for great silver county medal.
She has now qualified to represent Nottinghamshire in the National Inter-Counties in March.
Laura Bates continued the clubs good form with a second place of her own in U20s while there was a superb 4th place for Jasmine Braithwaite in the U11s.
Aaron Goulding, Tim Bagguley and Carl Braithwaite ran in the U20/senior men’s race.
