Newark announce new signing

Newark F.C. chairman Gary Clark has told Radio Newark Sport that Brad Wells has agreed to return to return to the club for the 2020/21 season.  Well known in local football and around Newark, Brad played a part in Newark Football Club’s 2018/19 promotion season, also winning a cup winners medal with the football club in East Midland Counties Football League Premier League Cup against Clifton All Whites FC.
Brad’s former clubs include Long Eaton United, Handsworth Parramore, Spalding United, Gainsborough Trinity, Stamford AFC, AFC Mansfield, Hedensford, and Frickley Athletic; playing at The FA’s National League System Steps 3 and 4, also reaching the 1st round of The FA Cup with Gainsborough Trinity.
Although dual signed at the time, Brad’s first spell with the club saw him make 4 starts, scoring 4 goals.  Having scored at each of the levels and team he’s played for, Brad has proved himself to be formidable in front of goal and will add to the football club’s strike-force.
Brad is well known to many in Newark as, with his brother, he runs the Turquoise Teapot, recently renamed as the Kiebra Coffee and Gin Bar, on Bowbridge Rd.  Further cementing his ties to the town and the local community
