Only the Lincolnshire and Leicestershire Cyclo Cross Leagues had Events on last weekend and here below are results for local riders for them
In Round 4 of the Lincolnshire Cyclo Cross League on Sunday promoted by Witham Wheelers and held at Church Farm, Stroxton, Near Grantham Ian Russell (Moda RT) finished a fine 7th in the Veteran`s Race with Owen Wilby (Sherwood Pines/Forme) finishing in 28th place. Photo of race attached
Ian`s Son, Stanley Russell racing for Newark Castle Cycling Club finished 13th in the Under 9`s Race.
Long Bennington`s Joshua Lane, racing for Wiham Warriors (Go-Ride Youth Section of Witham Wheelers) finished 12th in the Under 12`s Race.
In Round 3 of the Leicestershire Cyclo Cross League promoted by Leicester Road Club on Sunday and held at Prestwold Airfield, Nr. Loughborough Florence Lissaman, racing for Newark Castle Cycling finished 18th overall and 2nd Female to finish in the Youth Under 16/Under 14 Category Race.
Noah Inman, racing for the Lichfield City Cycling Club, finished 23rd overall.
In the Under 12`s Race Jude du Toit (Newark Castle CC) finished 4th overall with Charlotte Lissaman (Newark Castle CC) finishing 14th overall and 1st Female.
Jet Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) won the Under 9`s Race with Louis Inman, racing for Bolsover & District Cycling Club, in 2nd place.
