Zoe Codd (Velo Club Flintham) raced in the Veteran Women`s Race at the HSBC UK/Cyclocross National Trophy Round 4 held at the York Cycle Sport on Saturday and finished a very creditable 17th in very wet and muddy conditions.
On Sunday in Round 9 of the Lincolnshire Cyclocross League held at Winterton Showground, near Scunthorpe Jude Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) won the Under 12`s Race with Long Bennington`s Joshua Lane (Witham Wheelers) finishing in 10th place
In the Under 9`s Race Jet Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) finished 2nd, Noah Lane (Witham Wheelers) was 6th with Newark Castle Team-mates, Stanley Russell and Tom Powell finishing 11th and 22nd respectively
Ian Russell (Moda Road Team) finished 8th in the Veteran`s Race
Isabel Darvill (Velo Schils-Interbike RT) was 2nd in the Women`s Race
