The cyclocross kicked off after Christmas with three of the Leagues back in action over the weekend
On Saturday in Round 9 of the Forme Notts. & Derbys. League held at Bakewell Agricultural Centre Zoe Codd (Velo Club Flintham) finished 42nd in the mixed Senior/Junior/Womens Race and was 2nd best in her V40Female Category
In the Under 12`s Race Charles Hoyle (Newark Castle Cycling Club) was placed 4th with Team-mates Oliver Gosling-Barr and Sam Murcott placed 27th and 36th respectively.
In the Under 9`s Race Louis Inman racing for Bolsover & District Cycling Club finished 2nd
On Sunday in Round 6 of the Leicestershire League held at Cattlows Farm Nr Coalville and promoted by Coalville Wheelers Charlotte Lissaman (Newark Castle CC) finished 12th overall and 2nd placed Female
Also on Sunday in the Lincolnshire League held at Common Plantation, Broughton, North Lincolnshire and promoted b Scunthorpe Road Club, Isabel Darvill (Velo Schils-Interbike RT) finished 3rd in the combined Womens/Juniors combined race and 2nd Female
In the Under 12`s Race Joshua Lane, racing for Witham Wheelers finished 7th whilst younger Brother Noah finished 3rd in the Under 9`s race.
