Round 10 of the Cyclocross season
This weekend saw Round 10 of the Forme Notts. & Derbys. Cyclocross League held at Broxtowe Country Park, Nottingham on Saturday 19th January
In the Men`s Veteran`s Race Owen Wilby racing for Sherwood Pines Cycles was placed 61st with James Storr (Newark Castle Cycling Club) in 81st place. Total finishers was 98
In the Youth Category (Under 16/Under 14) Race, Noah Inman racing for the Lichfield City Cycling Club finished in 20th place
In the Under 12`s Race Newark Castle Cycling Club out in force with Charles Hoyle in 5th place, Jude Du Toit in 8th place, Charlotte Lissaman n 19th place and 2nd Girl to finish, Oliver Gosling-Barr in 34th place and Samuel Murcott in 40th place
In the Under 9`s Race Louis Inman, racing for the Bolsover & District Cycling Club was the Winner with Jet Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) in 4th place.
On Sunday in Round 14 of the Central Cyclocross League held at Misterton Hall, Lutterworth, Leicestershire Florence Lissaman (Newark Castle CC) was 2nd in he Under 14 Girls Race.
In the Under 14 Boys Race Noah Inman (Lichfield City Cycling Club) finished in 19th place
In the Under 12 Boys Race Charles Hoyle (Newark Castle CC) finished 3rd with Team-mate Jude Du Toit jus behind in 4th place
Charlotte Lissaman (Newark Castle CC) was the Winner in the Under 10`s mixed Race with Team-mate Jet Du Toit in 3rd place.
Zoe Codd didn`t race as caught the bug and not well
Isabel Darvill now just training reading for the Road Season starting end of February
