In Round 5 of the Notts. & Derbys. Cyclocross League held at Berry Hill Park, Mansfield on Saturday, Southwell`s Ian Russell, racing for the Moda Road Team finished 21st in the Veteran`s Race after a week off with illness with James Storr (Newark Castle CC) 116th out of 131 finishers.
Noah Inman, racing for the Lichfield City Cycling Club was placed 32nd in the Youth Under 14/Under 16 Race.
In the Under 12`s Race, Jude Du Toit finished 3rd with Newark Castle CC Team Mate Charles Hoyle just behind in 4th place. Charlotte Lissaman, also of Newark Castle CC finished 18th and first Female to finish.
Jet Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) was the Winner of the Under 9`s Race with former Team Mate Louis Inman, now racing for the Lichfield City Cycling Club in 2nd place. Stanley Russll (Newark Castle CC) finished in 17th place.
On Sunday in Round 3 of the HSBC UK Cyclocross National Trophy Series held at the South of England Agricultural Society Showground near Crawley, Sussex Noah Inman, racing for the Lichfield City Cycling Club finished 51st in the very competitive Youth Category Race.
Also on Sunday in the Lincolnshire Cyclocross League held at Hubbards Hills Farm, Louth Zoe Codd (Velo Club Flintham) finished 5th in the combined Women/Junior Race and first Veteran Lady.
Long Bennington Brothers Joshua and Noah Lane, racing for the Witham Wheelers Go-Ride Warriors Team were Joshua 5th in the Under 12`s Race with Noah 6th in the Under 9`s Race
In Round 8 of the Ridley-Lazer West Midlands Cyclocross League held at Newport Rugby Club, Shropshire on Sunday Jude Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) finished 2nd in the Under 12`s Race with younger Brother Jet, also of Newark Castle CC finishing 2nd in the Under 10`s Category Race..
Isabel Darvill had a weekend off but should return next week
