My daughter Ella and I competed in our last canicross race of the season until after the summer at Hatton County World, Warwick. It was a shorter than normal course of 3k but we both found the route tough as it was quite uneven and had a scary downhill section.
This was my first and probably last 2 dog canicross experience! Set off like a rocket 🚀 with Luna and Magic doing a 4.20 minute mile! Eventually they settled into a steadier pace but then I saw the downhill and thought I'm in trouble! I had no choice accept to go with it. Somehow we managed a first place in 2 dog female.
Ella my daughter did amazing with Puck the pointer. Not only did she win her category but got a special prize for fastest female time of the day up against the adults.
