Amelia Chrispin Newark Athletic Club
Yesterday Amelia attended the Nottinghamshire County Athletics Championships, at the Moorways Stadium in Derby. She was competing in just one event, representing Newark AC in the 1500m U13G.
On quite a warm day, she had a fantastic race crossing the line as first Nottinghamshire girl, in 5min 15.09 sec, smashing her official PB by over 7 seconds. She was presented with her gold medal, as the 2017 Nottinghamshire u13G 1500m County Champion, by Nottinghamshire AAA President Gareth Bagguley.
