Great match today for Jags 2..... we played at a new world class venue.
The team worked so hard and pushed the Manchester Mavericks very close but in the end lost 63-47. It was very close in every quarter losing them by 6,4,4 and 2 points.......the guards defended superbly especially in the last quarter making it difficult for the Mavericks - they all got on the scoresheet including Steve 'stealth' Handley!
Special mention goes to Toby who scored 10 points including 2 wonderful free throws. Also to Liam whose two 3 pointers kept us in the hunt..... we are playing more and more as a team and for each other. Two stunning refs contributed to an enjoyable match and our crowd loved it..... we're improving all the time.
