Newark Rugby Club star Jess Weaver spent Saturday in Wales with the England Sevens team, Dad Phil sent RN Sport the following report;
Jess got on really well and didn't look out of place amongst some real quality players , she managed to sneak a couple of tries. We played Wales four times throughout the day, Wales were in preparation for the commonwealth games in the Bahamas and England were preparing for a tournament in Europe.
Jess isn't expecting to be selected for the tournament as she's very much one of the junior players but I think she will cirtainly have caused the selectors a headache.
All in all it was a great day and Jess did Newark proud.
