National Gold for young Newark star
Laura Bates teamed up with two girls from Lincoln Tri Club and a one from the Absolute Club in Nottingham to take the gold medal in their category at the National Triathlon Relays held at Holme Pierrepont.
The team had to complete a 500m swim, 15k cycle ride and 5k run with the top three times added together.
Laura told Radio Newark Sport “I felt privileged to be apart of such a lovely team of girls!
