Emma Ashwin and Rob Wilkinson braved the icy wind at the Newark Showground on Saturday for Adam Holland's Mara Mile Christmas Challenge. Emma completed the 1 lap, 3.28 mile version of the event in 41:29 and Rob did the 2 lap 6.56 mile option in 1:10:07.
On to Sunday and weather conditions were better for Nick Harrison and Simon Roberts at the Lincoln & District Runners charity Christmas cross country but the 5 mile course was pretty tough by all accounts. No results published, but watch times of 41:17 for Simon and 1:08:04 for Nick.
