A busy Saturday morning
It was a busy Saturday morning with the usual high turnout at Parkrun, many at Newark as may be expected, but other places too, in particular we had a club tour to Belton House Parkrun, where 21 of the 29 Striders and family members recorded personal best times.
News from Saturday evening at the Knights of 7 Lakes 10K trail torch run. David Cross, Philippa Clarke, Jess Gordon and Stacey Atkins were there for Newark Striders, David finished in 49:16, Philippa 50:37, Jess 51:28 and Stacey 1:06:03.
On to Sunday and we had members running in the Trust 10 events at Longshaw and Clumber. Stephen Tomlinson recorded 1:04:27 over the tough Longshaw course followed by Anthea Moisey in 1:19:57. At Clumber Park we had Brian Thompson 50:14, Andy Sirrs 57:11, Lesley Butlin &Tracey Partridge 1:02:15 and Chris Cregg 1:03:42.
