Tri club members slowly gaining momentum
A busy weekend for the members of Newark’s new running club ...starting with Lincoln Sprint Triathlon where four members were in action making their debut for Newark Tri Club.
Ladies first.. Rowan Jackson-Stewart 1.25.28. Jane Matthews 1.29.08 and Leonie Brown 1.40.14. Flying the flag for the boys was Dylan Thomas 1.17.07. amazing effort from each of them and certainly more to come. Running another fabulous 10k PB was Henrietta Bettison McCabe with a time of 55.53.
And taking on the famous London Marathon but not quite catching Mo were Mary Swindles with a brilliant time of 4.36.47. Bonnie Tinsley completing her first (but we doubt last) marathon in a time of 5.23.06 and Sarah-Jane Cobb with 5.24.13. Superb running (biking and swimming) from all!! Keep up the training guys
