Weekend round up from the Tri Club
Saturday saw Wendi Carrington partake in the Coast to Coast Sportive cycle ride, During what was to be the UK's hottest day so far this year Wendi breezed through the 150 mile distance in an incredible time of 14:48:43.
Sunday bought slightly cooler conditions and 5 members headed to Woodhall Spa for the final of the OSB sprint Triathlon events Nick Williams came home first for the Tri Club with a time of 01:14:27, followed by Jane Matthews in 01:29:14, Andy Matthews in 01:31:43 , Jem Lawson in 01:31:51 and Michelle Starbuck smashed last year's time dispite staying in the pool for two extra laps and finished in 01:34:39.
Special mention of the day goes to Jane who in her first season of Triathlon received trophies for both First Female Winner and Series Winner in her age catagory.
