All the news from Notfast running club
There we 42 club members at Parkruns this week, in Hove, Clumber Park, Newark, and our annual delegation to Poznan in Poland. All PBs in Poland this week for those that had been previously, and also Adrian Dix with an overall Parkrun PB in Hove.
On Sunday, NOTFAST were out in force at a very muddy Grantham Cup, at Belton House, Grantham. Despite the conditions in this 10k cross country event, Richard Hallam was first back for NOTFAST in 33rd place in 48:52, closely followed by Lindsay Widdowson, who was first lady back overall in 48:55, Dale Mordue (56:21), Jeremy Reichelt (56:55), Simon Lock (58:15), Richard Borrill (59:52), Kimberly Etherington-Bates (1:01:47), Chris Redhead (1:02:14), Fay Parker (1:02:17), Nikki Dales (1:04:53), Mike Manley (1:06:00), Rachel Sheldrake (1:07:00), John Miller (1:09:49), Jo Gray (1:11:01), Ann Manley (1:12:03), Kirsty Watson (1:13:54), Karen Borrill (1:26:49), and Colin Green (1:31:56).
Netty Stevens completed the Derby 10K in 1:06:03, and then promptly went out again and completed the fun-run!
Stuart Hawkes was in Boston (Lincolnshire) to take part in their half marathon, and completed the course in just over 2 hours
Stephen Crook, Lyn Gascoigne and Matt Gascoigne were in Brighton to take part in the marathon with it being the first for both Lyn and Stephen. Stephenfinished in an excellent 4:05:05, with Lyn in 4:35:30, and Matt in 5:07:34
Finally, NOTFAST were out again for the annual visit to Poland, to complete in the Poznan Half Marathon. A very warm day for it, but Jim Lovett was first back in 1:53:50, followed by Angela Brown (2:08:58), Annette Taylor (2:10:17), Barry Wood (2:18:41), Claire Wood (2:18:42), Andy Floyd (2:22:01), Faye Paterson (2:25:58 and PB), Val Dethick (2:27:29), Suzanne Catley(2:28:03), Jacqui Walton (2:31:33), Maria Brambles (2:33:57), Faye Hemingway (2:44:00), Ernie Clarke (2:44:41), and Cathy Clarke (2:44:41).
