Kinder Scout on Sunday, they deserve cake!
40 Notfast members were at Parkruns this week, at Newark, Clumber Park, Sheffield Castle, Belton House and Ludlow, with PBs this week for Sue Needham, Dave Fargher, Joanna Gray and Siobhan Braithwaite.
Notfast had 5 runners at the inaugural Doncaster 10k on Sunday, which was run through the town centre, on relatively flat ground. Adrian Dix was first back in a new PB time of 38:19, followed by Simon Lock (47:11), Steven White (51:07), Chris Redhead (53:40 PB), and Chris Mumby (1:10:16 PB).
Damian Davies and Richard Hallam were at the Clowne Half marathon on Sunday, which is quite a hilly course. Damian was 20th back overall in new PB time of 1:24:40, with Richard coming in in 1:30:56
Amy Lanham completed the Tinsel 10K at Newark Showground in 1:18, while raising money for Newark Mind with her work colleagues
Most of the NOTFAST team on Sunday were at Holme Pierpont for the first East Midlands Cross Country of the season, with 10K for the men and 5K for the ladies. Piotr Dura was first back for the Mens team in 42:59, followed by Jeremy Reichelt (47:44), Jim Lovett (48:39), Adam Jackson (48:42), Peter Clarke (48:44), Simon Eccleston (49:09), Richard Borrill (50:08), Andy Rowlands (50:31), Stuart Hawkes (50:50), Martin Dickenson (50:58), Peter Lane (51:19), David Gill (51:44), Peter Middleton (53:08), Steve Needham (54:34), Ian Carr (58:57), John Miller (1:00:58), Andy Floyd (1:02:35), Ernie Clarke (1:04:55), Colin Green (1:08:52) and Edward Casebourne (1:19:31).
For the Ladies team, Claire Wood was first back for Notfast in 25:56, followed by Kimberley Etherington-Bates (26:17), Mandy Eccleston (26:53), Nikki Dales (28:25), Rachel Sheldrake (28:43), Angela Brown (28:44), Annette Taylor (29:10), Joanna Gray (31:07), Breeze Rowlands (31:48), Maria Brambles (32:23), Suzanne Catley (32:35), Fay Patterson (32:44), Cathy Clarke (33:51), Jacqui Walton (33:54), Karen Borrill (34:45), Annie Cunningham (36:27), Gill Goode (36:37), Sarah Walker (36:41), Diane Kennett (38:41), and Zoe Smith (47:38)
Finally, Caroline Upton, David Watt, and Liz Walton did the Konig Mini Mountain Marathon on Sunday. This was 4 hours fell running on Kinder Scout from Hayfield. David and Caroline ran/staggered/fell into bogs and snow drifts, with David getting 170 points within the 4-hour limit, and 150 points for Caroline, with Liz getting 70 points within the 4 hours. It was very cold, with snow/hail/rain and the visibility was terrible...but great soup and cake!
