The Heckington Six
There were 34 club members over 8 Parkruns this week, including Ann White in Paris. PB’s for Ann Manley
Last week saw Dianne Kennett take part in the MacMillan Mighty Hike, a 26 mile hike in the peak district, completing in 11:50:00
Friday evening was the Newstead Abbey Dash, a 5k race which also serves as one of the county championship events, there we 9 members taking part:
First back for the club and obtaining a Silver medal in age category was Damian Davies – 17:35, followed by James Talbot – 19:45 (PB), Simon Lock – 20:54, Kim Etherington-Bates – 25:00, Jeremy Reichelt – 26:13, Fay Paterson – 30:11, Madaleine COmbie – 30:46 (PB), Victoria Wakeman – 32:04, Jacqui Walton – 32:04.
Sunday saw a couple of events, The Heckington 10 Mile race, of which 6 members took part: Richard Borrill – 01:28:01, Amy Borrill – 01:29:57, Vic Knight – 01:44:25, Zanna Perry – 01:48:53, Cath Hare – 01:51:48 and Laura Smith – 02:10:00.
Simon Lock was in Littleport for the 10k, completing in 42:56
