Newark Hockey men lead by captain Alex Davis (pictured) won 4-0 at Derby meaning they go into next weeks last match of the season at home to Atherstone knowing that victory will give them the East Midlands Division One title.
The ladies third team also took a big step towards their title with a 4-0 victory at Woodthorpe
But it was bad news for the Ladies Ones surprisingly beaten 2-0 at Boots.
