A huge well done to the six Striders who completed " The night Trail run " a five mile headtorch run around the fields and tracks of Rushcliffe.
Jess Gordon was the first Strider to finish, completing the course in 39: 42 and a fantastic 2nd lady overall , our only male representative Jon Rawson finished in 41:14 followed by Philippa Clarke 51:01,
Jacqui Jackson 51:01, Stacey Atkins in 51:04 and Karen Illsley 51:10. A thoroughly enjoyable night finished off with chips and beer!
A massive well done to the three Striders Nick, Wyn and Lee who participated in the very challenging White Rose ultra a gruelling 30 mile run. Lee finished in 6 hours 30 minutes and Nick in 6 hours 49 minutes.
And nearer to home three Striders that completed the Sherwood pines Robin hood runs.
In the 10K event Jan Bailey finished in a brilliant time of 36: 41 coming 2nd out of a field of 262 participants and 1st in his age category vet male 40+, followed by Tom Marshall finishing in a great time of 37:13 coming in 4th overall and 3rd in his senior men age category.
While 5K event Lewis Hopkinson finished in 19 minutes coming 3rd overall and 1st in his category vet 40+ male.
