As a result of the excellent fund raising efforts by the Newark Rugby Club girls, 9.00am on a bleak Sunday morning saw the launch of her brand new carbon fibre international standard single sculler.
and with a smile that brightened up the day Victoria and "heart of a Lyon" disappeared on to the Trent.
