On the hottest day of the year in intrepid Mr Holland decides to run between Carlisle and Newcastle, this is what he had to say after another first place finish;

Okay try and keep this short and sweet. 69 miles in extreme hot weather here very little cloud. No idea how I managed to get round in the time I did. 10:30:17sec and over the moon to take 1st place.
41 miles in I took a fall badly bruised my leg and I thought I would have to walk the rest. But I learnt to run with the pain! Massive thank you for the support.
