If you’re a regular listener to Girls Around Town, you may well remember hearing June talking to various people from REACH, a Nottinghamshire charity dedicated to helping local people with learning disabilities live happier, healthier lives in their community.

With centres in Southwell, Newark and Mansfield along with two Flower Pods in the district, its team does this by running courses, social activities, holidays and best practice projects to find new solutions to problems and also offers quality one-to-one care support through Reach Learning Disability Care CIC.

With several fundraising events on the horizon for the coming months, the team certainly has a busy summer ahead…

And fundraising director Julia Sandhu will be live in the studio next Sunday morning to share all the details!

Maybe you fancy taking the plunge of a tandem skydive over at Langar Airfield in a couple of months’ time?

Perhaps you’re a runner who’s up for the challenge of the Newark Half Marathon in August?

Or is raising money for REACH through October‘s Virtual London Marathon more your cup of tea?
